About Clive Keep - IT Background

Clive Keep has been living and working in Hong Kong since 1988.  Having graduated from London University (UCL) in 1981 (BSc in Architecture), he has followed a project-based career path mostly working on a self-employed basis in the field of Art and Design.  He got the bug for computers in 1996 when a friend gave him an ancient IBM PS2.

"I got into building my own computers, messing around with the internet and learning about how computers work and what they can do.  I realised that there was an opportunity to work in the field when, after a couple of years I realised that a good proportion of the time I spent on my computers was trying to make the damn things work properly.  I suspected there might be quite a few people out there who would rather pay someone to do this than do it themselves and I began to see that it was a probabilistic certainty that all PC's will eventually put the user mental health in serious jeopardy."

Since then Clive has branched out into web design, desktop publishing and 3D object modeling and logos.  He has not spent any time in mental institutions.....yet.
