This is the hardest of all these pages to write.  How much does it cost?  How long will it take?  How long is a piece of string?

I try to give my clients some kind of idea of what the job will cost as far as I can, and then keep them informed as the job progresses.

My rates are pretty reasonable by local standards and vary according to the type of work and its location.

I'm uncomfortable about putting very specific price information in such a public place.  I charge my lowest rates for repairs and trouble-shooting in the local community.  My hourly rate ranges:

HK$200 - HK$650

For big jobs I usually offer an initial free consultation and I am happy to talk to people on the phone either for consultation or technical support within reason.

I am willing to lower my rates for worthy causes such as non-profit groups, art-related or community stuff, so long as it's not utterly boring.
